En una jornada histórica durante septiembre de 1999, dos décadas atrás, el pueblo cristiano evangélico en unidad salió a las calles y se reunió como cuerpo en las inmediaciones del Obelisco porteño por primera vez, donde durante varias horas levantaron oraciones al Señor. Las peticiones de aquel momento, no difieren mucho de las actuales: se oraba por el cese del auge de la violencia, la debilidad de la Justicia, el aumento de la pobreza, la crisis de la educación y la desintegración de la familia, acentuado esto hoy por la invasión de la ideología de género y el aborto, entre otros temas. También en aquella ocasión quedó como testimonio la banda formada por 200 músicos que acompañó cada pieza musical entonada por los fieles que llegaron desde distintos puntos de la Nación.
